A week in Slovenia through the Soča Valley, Lake Bohinj, the Istrian coast, and Ljubljana

Eight days through Slovenia and the Istrian coast. We spend a couple of days in the mountains, then we ditched the car for bikes and rode 75 miles down the coast on the Parenzana trail, and finally finished with a couple of days in Ljubljana.

Part 1 — Julian Alps

Landed in Trieste, Italy right at the border of Slovenia and drove into the mountains and spent the first night in a charming alpine town.
